Moody''s that I''ve seen have impressed me with what seemed to be very roomy layouts below and pretty solid overall construction. They don''t pretend to be apartments, so there are handholds where you might need them both below AND on deck. The sail-handling gear looked like it was sized properly (big enough) and was simple but effective for what was needed. The overall lines looked good too. One, a Moody 41 Center Cockpit, could have been a really beamy box, and the way they drew the lines out and made the whole thing balance together was quite nice.

I had a Moody 31 built on 1990, I have to say that the quality of construction is great, My brother had studied Naval Cnstruction in Southampton Enland (we are fro Barcelona Spain), and he told me that was one of the finest builders in England, He came and check the boat went I bought it back in 1999 so the boat was almost 10 years...the hull was impresive, the fiberglass perfect no indication of osmosis at all...all the construction was really nice the 31 was a very safe boat easy to hnadle, I have seen the new 47 as a cruiser they must be great...sailing....I donīt know(I dont like main furlers)....but for confort cruising and contruction I am sure that they are fine. Good lock...Now we own a cruiser racer, an Elan 40 and itīs fast and fine I am startint to do some races so......
