Bavaria vs Jeaneau

I am considering a Bavaria 49 or Jeanneau 45.2. I would be very interested in comments on either boat or brand to help in this comparison.

I looked at everything last year and bought a Jeanneau. The overall quality and level of finish is superior to the Bavaria. I believe foot for foot the Bavaria will cost less but I would stick with Jeanneau.

I would agree with that. Looking at the details of these boats, the Bavarias just do not appear as well constructed as the Jeanneaus or the First Series Beneteaus.
