For sale 25'''' Margaret D Cutter Rigged Ketch

For Sale 1974 25’ Margaret D Cutter Rigged Ketch

This is truly a very rare find. The boat has been lovingly cared for by the same family since 1979. It is an extremely strong, safe coastal cruiser for a couple or small family. The boat is a joy to sail and it has to be one of the prettiest little boats ever made.
Photos are available.

For sale 25'''' Margaret D Cutter Rigged Ketch

Sounds like a nice boat but one minor correction, there is no such thing as a ''cutter rigged ketch''. Since she has a mizzen, it sounds like Margaret is a ketch with multiple headsails. 8^)

Good luck selling the ole girl. It must be hard to do after owning her all of these years.

Jeff

Ok, I may be mistaken, but I wouldn''t be the first to use the term cutter rigged ketch. It does have multiple headsails and 4 sails flying on a 25 footer makes for a beautiful sight.

It will be sad to see it go. I''m actually the son, and it is Dad''s boat. He got 5 foot fever and moved up to a 30 footer last year. It is the boat all my childhood memories are associated with.

I forgot to put a price. Asking price is 12,500. Basically it is the cost of the barely used sails, roller fuling, and new diesel engine.

Thanks,

Sean
