My brain is failing me right now, but Pearson bought some molds in the 1980''s from an outfit that went belly up and was producing a Pearson Triton
line, or something like that. This boat may be one of those. The P-26 was last produced in 1982, and you are correct that what we Pearsonites call the P-27-II (to differentiate it from the Pearson Renegade, a design from the ''60''s that also was 27 feet)came out in 1987. I own a 1989 P-27-II.
