tatoosh 42?

Anyone know anything about these boats? I''m having almost zero luck finding anything about them.

I understand they may also be marketed under the model name: Nassau 42? They are a Bob Perry design, built in Taiwan by Angel Marine at (I am told) the same yard that makes the Tayanas, among others.

A couple on the Latitude 38 Website/Club recently circumnavigated in one.

That''s about all I could pick up. Looking seriously at making an offer on one if it passes the approval of this august assembly.

There many Robert Perry ''knockoffs'' (stolen designs, etc. ?) built at yards that dont have good reputations or understanding of proper yacht building - be very careful.

ok, so I now know even less than I thought I didn''t know.

It looks like Bob Perry checks out as the designer, though. I went to his site and his bio therein, as you suggested, and the tatoosh 42 and 51 are listed. No sign of the mystery boat, however, at the Ta Yang Yacht Builder site.
