Watkins 27 supershoal draft

I was looking at an old Cruising World magazine and found an ad for a Watkins 27 with a draft of 2''8". I am wondering if Watkins ever made one, I have heard it never made it into production. All of the 27''s I''ve seen have a 3''8" draft. If it did, where can I find one?
