I am looking to purchase a boat for cruising (offshore/ greek islands). What sort of vessel am I looking at for a job like that? I am looking for something not to large, would something like a contessa 26 do? any good boat suggestions?

Doesn''t that depend on where you are starting from? To cruise the Greek Isles, say starting from New England would take a different kind of boat than if you were starting out in Greece...or did I miss something.
Anyway, If I were going to venture very far in a 26'' boat I would look for one that has already done it. Very special boat. John Gov.
