Bill,

Glad you are enjoying your 35 Landfall. We have the traditional setup 1983 MKIII with a k/c. We dont get down to eastern Bay that much, but do the Chester River and other rivers a lot during the summer.

We just got back from an 18 day trip to Block Island, Mystic, Northport, Essex, Westport, Sandy Hook, Barnegat, Atlantic City and Cape May. The boat was very comfortable to live on and cruised very well. As you know they have a turn of speed most modern boats do not in similar sizes. she was very kind in the ocean and handled a few days with 6-8 foot sweels with 20+ winds easily once reefed down some.

We jave slowly been refitting her and inmproving her original systems year by year to make her more corfortable. Lets get together and compare notes sometime.

Dave

I have purchased a cc29MII and love it, see my pics in photo albums LENDOW. I am hoping to do a lot of cruising. My wife is an excellent sailor but I will be solo sailing a lot. Congrats to all the cc new owners.

Cheers
Len

C&c 35 Mki

Hi Guys, Just thought I'd chime in here. I also have a C&C 35 MKI from 1971. I'm looking for any information I can get on build placement etc. I got most of the pieces when I bought the boat but not sure where they all go, i.e. fuel, water tanks, holding tank etc. I also know that a bunch of build information was donated to a museum and is available for purchase. Do you know which museum? Thanks,

Not sure of the name of the museum but I do know that its in Kingston Ontario. Suggest you go to cncphotoalbum.com many knowledgeable 35 Mk I owners on there that will steer you in the right direction with your research.

Solomans is a favorite destination of mine . We usually go to Spring Cove when we tie up, but the anchorages in the many vreeks close by are outstanding.

Hopefully you get up to the further north on Chesapeake sometimes. Look us up if you do.

Checking

Recently purchased a C&C 36 and am really enjoying the boat. Sailing the southern Chesapeake, hope to see others out there!
