Going to be looking at a 26' C&C next week

C&C 26' Encounter Sloop Sailboat (year unknown) forgot to ask the guy its not posted on the listing. Ill email him tonight and as him that.

Any known issues I should ask him about the boat thats common to the c&c 26?

Sounds like the marina is selling it for the owner, so theres possible a broker involved. Anything I should be aware of there? (I don't plan on having a broker)?

Thanks!

Heres the listing:
Very nice example of a high quality manufacturer that has stood the test of time. Well maintained and nicely equipped. The Encounter is wider than the standard 26 and offers more interior and deck space as a result. This 2nd-owner freshwater only sloop rig features wheel steering, fixed lead keel, 9hp Yanmar SeaHorse inboard diesel with feathering prop, newer pocelain head, new binnacle compass, VHF radio, deoth finder, alcohol stove, new turnbuckles, forestays and shrouds, new running rigging, new bronze scupper thru-hulls, new fuel filter / water separator, VC-17 barrier coated hull, deck reconditioned with epoxy and balsa where needed, Pelican clips on stanchions and lifelines, bow pulpit anchor, extra large anchor, numerous sails as listed below, and comes with a 6-post steel cradle AND a 9' dinghy/tender. Lots of nice teak in good condition, hull waxed twice yearly, oil changed annually. Sleeps 4.

Sails:
Ballooner with Sock - (Like Spinnaker)
J-24 Spinnaker with pole
Quilt Cut Drifter (Cross between Genoa and Spinnaker for lighter winds)
Main with 2 reef points
Working Jib - Double Reef
Genoa

If it has a split backstay look carefully at the castings on the rear quarters that anchor the stays. I have seen broken ones on the 26.
