Re: C&C 99 owners opinions - help pls

I am looking at 2-3 C&C 99s..

Can anyone with the C&C 99 tell me how I can make sure that the chainplates are welded properly? Was there a hull number after which this was "fixed"?

Thanks in advance!

Dave

Re: C&C 99 owners opinions - help pls

Hello again,

I am looking at two CC 99s, planing to purchase one shortly.

I am still hoping that someone might know what hull numbers/ or year of production were associated with gelcoat blistering?

Also any knowledge of the chainplate issue would be very helpful.

Thank you,
Dave

I own a 2003, 99. I've never heard of a chain plate issue. Further, I have no Gelcoat blistering. She's holding up very well now that she's 10 years old.

Anyone have experience with addition of the sprit? I am considering it, but wondeirng if I do it myself or send it to Ohio.

Wondering how/where it drains since it is enclosed?

Thanks
Dave
