One of the "Issues" I've inherited with the new boat is the forward
hatch. I knew it'd have to be dealt with, but thought it'd be latter. The handles and bolt through the lexan (?) are stuck and rusty, and the lexan had some cracks. Well, the
hatch "prioritized" itself by cracking as it was beling closed.
1. Is it in fact lexan? Plexiglass would have shattered, but the again, I'm use to thin sheets. This is about 1" thick,
2. Is there a way to replace just the lexan? Or does the entire
hatch have to be replaced? (Ouch!) Just as important, is there a material source? I can get lexan, but no where near that thickness.
Thanks!
Chuck
