What cushions do I use to turn 32' C&C dinette into a berth.

I am wondering what cushions I should use to turn my dinette into a bed, 1982 32' C&C, It seems like the boat only came with one extra cushion that doesn't fit anywhere except atop the dinette however I only have one of these cushions and the table has room for 2, are there supposed to be 2 or is a cushion from the settee or nav station used? Thanks

Our table on our 35 had two cushions...which were extra backs and kept in the V Berth usually

Usually there are extra cushions or use the cushions from the back of the settee. I have a friend with a C&C 32 - do you want me to check with him?

Which cushions to use is a puzzle. I use the dinette seat back cushions. They are contoured so they make a lumpy bed. They also don't fit the table exactly and as aresult they stick out slightly. To smooth out the lumps, I bought a small memory foam mattress and lay it over the cushions. I role up the memory foam and store it in the v-berth when not in use.

Everyone who has slept on this bed says it is very comfortable. I've never used it myself.

Ours fit great. NOt sure what the problem is for you. On thing we have done to make that a more comfortable bed and also prevent the cushions from sliding is purchase a cheap memory foam roll which campers use when sleeping in a sleeping bag in a tent. We got ours from either REI or LL Bean. When not in use it rolls up and takes virtua;;y no room and can be stowed in a small space. We put it under the cushions between them and the wood/ frame for the bed when we make it up. It prevents the cushions from sliding for one and also makes a softer bed. Cheap fix for about $15
