I have purchased a 1976 C&C, which doesn't have any engine. I'm putting in an A4, but the boat has no motor mounts in it. The beds are alot further apart than the mounts on the engine. I'm wondering if there were plates or something across there originally? Can anyone describe what yours has? Thanks! Barry
Adapting to the existing mounts should be possible, esp if the beds are wider rather than narrower. I'm pretty sure an A4 was an original option with these boats, so something should be available.
