Ok next question.. cockpit table

Now that I'm compelled to leave my traveler the way it is; the cockpit table, which I was going to enlarge if the traveler left the cockpit, is kinda small.

Does anyone have any good ideas re a sensible portable table to setup in the cockpit when entertaining that works well and acts as an addition to the little table that is OEM on the C&C?

Can you not slide the traveller all the way to one side or the other and set up a table that attaches to the binnacle support like most do? It would have to be stored elsewhere while sailing, but would be 'normal' sized when needed.

Not as convenient as a permanent mounted swing-up table but you've got some cockpit storage space.

Yes I can move the traveler and there is a small table already attached to the binnacle but it's very small. I want to accomodate at least 4 people for cockpit lunches and the table is way to small, so I'm looking for something to augment the little table.

Add a 'leaf' that folds out towards the companionway? Lots of appropriate table hardware and support ideas for that, as well as foldouts to make the table wider.

Safe sailing
