The C&C must be a great sailing vessel! Probably very similar to the San Juan 24 I had before. Registering sounds like an easy process!

Yep, very similar, think she's a little easier to control downwind though. Was out this afternoon, bit gusty but good fun, 6+ knots through the water regularly which isn't bad for a little tub that doesn't plane.

That sounds like great fun! I had a Gennaker for my San Juan, which I think may have been better than a Spinnaker on that boat on the downwind leg. For my new boat, I have a both, but I think I will find myself using the Gennaker the majority of the time. Just so much easier to use, plus the Gennaker on this boat has a dosing sock. I have never used one before, but I imagine it will make it even more appealing! =D

Hey Alfy,

We too just booked our moorage reservations for the C&C Rendezvous at Telegraph Harbour yesterday. We will be there from August 9th through to the 13th, at least.
I'll be on my holidays then so we will be cruising around the Gulf Islands for a month or so.
I hope the weather is nice.

Hey Peter, I booked a few extra days off before the Rendezvous. I will be leaving my marina Aug 4th to do some gunkholing in the area before going to Telegraph Harbour. I will keep a look out for you or see you on the 10th for sure.

It will be August in the Gulf Islands, on a boat....weather HAS to be nice! lol

We will be in your neck of the woods.
We are planning on visiting Nanaimo, Silva Bay and we will be at Wakes Cove on Valdez Island for at least a few days. We might make a trip over to Smugglers Cove but that plan is still up in the air. It can get very busy in Smugglers Cove in August. If you hale us on ch.16 you should find us somewhere around these areas.
