Gas Fume Vent

Surely I'm not the first to address this problem, but haven't been able to find any pictures or posts on how to fix. My Solution: Add a quick connect to the gas tank, run it to an external vent fitting. Keep the tank cap-vent closed while on board.

Vent and Fuel Line Quick Connect. I hate having extra clutter running around in the cockpit.

Looks good; You might want to include a loop in vent line.--Dale

Loop? not familiar with that. What do you mean?

Where you vent out the line, you need to bring the hose higher then the vent ,before you vent out. leave a loop, so anything going in the vent has to go up before traveling down the vent-Dale

Thought about doing something similar, but just using a barb fitting on the gas cap vent. I decided to leave the fuel tank in the cockpit under a cover, and keep the extra storage space available underneath.

Not as clean as your setup, but it suits my needs.
