Any ideas?

Open to suggestions.. What are these clips in the cockpit?

Fuel tank tie down maybe?

Since you are asking, then I'd opine that they are unnecessary pieces of metal that are temporarily covering/sealing holes in your cockpit deck through which water will eventually seep.

Seriously though, they don't look original and seem to be relatively light wt so I'm guessing they're owner mods to achieve some unknown result. If you can't figure it out now, wait until you put the boat through her paces -- you may have a forehead slapping moment and discover the purpose. If not, remove and properly seal the deck penetrations.

Fuel tank tie down seems likely - unless there's a spot for the tank in one of the lockers. They are pretty light duty, as mentioned, and is that a 3rd odd man out there too??

hmm, i'm still at a loss. I'm thinking fuel tank tie downs is the most likely culprit.. Toe stubber fits too. and that third random piece, is an old bolt off the trailer that got tossed in.. nothing attached permanently.

Mast support on this boat attaches in the tiller's place when it's removed, for trailering. Oh well, they're there, and for the moment anyways, look better than trying to fix the holes. So looks like they get to ride.
