Looking for a Replacement Mast

I've recently purchased an 85 Tall Rig. I've got some mast damage at the spreader that the surveyor didn't find. I'm getting rigger to come out to give me a repair estimate. However, I'd prefer to find a replacement if at all possible. Anyone happen to know where one is?

Re: Looking for a Replacement Mast

My rigger has given me the bad news. Basically, a new stick or ship it out of state for repair. I'm interested if someone has a viable option/replacement.

Re: Looking for a Replacement Mast

We (our club) lost a C30 tall rig boat during h'cane Sandy. Pretty sure the mast was ok. I'm thinking the closest boat wrecking yard is: King Marine, Verplank, NY
270 6th St.
914 737-4306
Worth making a phone call.

Another recycling wrecking yard is Brownell, in Mattipoisett, MA
800-262-8428 ext. 5101
Ask for Tom. Nice guy.
He had two junked T27 hulls he was selling parts for. Why not a C30?

Re: Looking for a Replacement Mast

Sansouci,

Did you ever get a chance to look a you stock?. I don't have exact measurements (will later this week), but the C30 has a roughly 5" wide by 8" long cross-section. The sides are perfectly flat. The tall-rig versions is 42-43 feet long.
