C30s in Puget Sound

Hi, I've a C30 #103 in Port Orchard WA and was wondering about any Catalina organisations on Puget Sound. We mainly day sail and would like to start cruising and Beer Can raceing. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi there!

My dad and I just acquired a Catalina 27, and she'll be living at the Port Orchard marina. She's our "learn to sail" boat, so we shouldn't be too hard to spot - we'll be the ones consulting a book before every action. (We aren't clueless enough to be dangerous, don't worry... just bumbling!)

So... yeah, I really don't have anything useful to contribute to your post. I know nothing about any organizations. Just thought I'd say hi to a neighbor.

There are two associations in P.S.
Catalina Association of Puget Sound
and
Catalina Association of Tacoma and South Sound

I haven't had any contact with them in the past, but they seem to be active.

While I really like my new boat, I miss the support of having so many fellow owners...
