Anybody racing a C320 on the lake? Trying to decide what size headsail to get and would welcome any experiences

Racing Catalina 320 on Lake Macquarie

Hi

There are two 320s racing out of RMYC Toronto, Emenar is very quick and has all the best sails, no weight on board and adjustable backstay and then there is us. We have just put new Doyle Dacron sails on, our headsail is about 140% on a furler. We are not super competitive as we have a fixed prop, but we did do ok at the recent Catalina Rendezvous on the Lake. If you want to talk about things then maybe send an email to us direct. Our address is on the profile. We did look at Ubuluku ourselves 18 months ago and didn't realise she had moved up north. Are you on the Lake or Newcastle based? Look forward to hearing back.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest that your go to the Catalina320.org website and sign on to their forum, and ask your question.

Thanks, but you have sent this to the wrong guy. We responded to Ubulukus request. We already subscribe to the Catalina forum.
Oh by the way, we are in Austarlia, not the US
Cheers
