I like our current message list

Just a test message here.....

I REALLY like our current message list system, and hope it doesn't change...
The e-mail based message list is VERY handy, and since you must subscribe to it, it isn't an obtrusive system at all.....

It particularly shines for those interested in very specific things, such as onwers of the same model boat, etc.....

The other type of discussions using the internet, "web based" forums (where I'm posting this, now), are good for lots of users to read / participate in general discussions......
But, are not too applicable to very specific interests....
Not to mention the great benefit of the ease of use / reading the e-mail discusson lists is NOT there......

So, I'm hoping that we will continue to see the sailnet e-mail based discusson lists prosper.....

BTW, I'm not expecting any response here.....just testing.....1 2 3

We went through this about 2 years ago searching for an email list server. This one has me at a loss for how to get around but I'll try for a while. Also I am trying the Yahoo discussion group and will see how that works.

I hate change..............that might be part of my problem here, but I fiind this more cumbersome and distracting to navigate to. Anyway, I'll give it a try. I would not be averse to finding another home for our discussions.

I can't even figure out how to start a new item for just the 470 group, it seem to want to go to everyone.
