Ranger 33 with interior of Cal 34

I have a 1974 Ranger 33 "Banana Wind". Outside she is a pure tall rig Ranger, but inside she has the hull liner of Cal 34. The seller said this was a special boat made for a boat show. Thats all I know. We sure appreciate her extra spacious galley and extra quarter-berth. All that and great preformance of Ranger 33. Is she really one of a kind, or has anyone seen this combination?
