A Cal 20 photo on a trailer?

Hi Everyone:

My name is Brian Gilbert. I'm writing a book on trailer sailing for International Marine, and I'm looking for a photo for publication. Does anyone have a photo of their Cal 20 on the trailer? I'm trying to show that boats with deep fixed keels aren't that easy to launch, and I thought of the Cal 20 as a good example.

The only requirements is that you are the owner of the photo... I can't use one without permision of the photographer... and that is well-focused and HIGH RESOLUTION if it's a digital file. The usual web photo won't print properly.

Email me directly at hammerguy@mindspring.com if you think you'd like to be included, and THANKS!!!

Best
BG

Hi Brian,

I have my Cal 20 on it's trailer. Not only can you have the photo, you can have the boat.... She was damaged in hurricane Ivan, Sept. 2004, never sunk, then I hauled her onto my trailer and gave her away - Too much trauma! The sorry SOB I gave her to has never come to take her away, delay, delay....
I've been paying storage for over two years, $35 monthly X 24 and would like to recoup some of my $$$, but will consider any offer.

A cal 20 on a trailer

Hi Tom:

Gee... all I wanted was a photo, not the whole thing! I'd be big-time interested... i need to get to work on a second boat... except that I have no place to work on it. What kind of damage does it have, and what's your estimate to fix? Can the trailer make it to Tennessee? I know someone who is about nuts to get a boat, but has no money to speak of, sounds like it might be the kind of deal he's after.

Thanks
Brian Gilbert
