Water heater for Cal 28-2

Chris, I'm sorry to say I don't know the original make/model. I need to replace mine this year too. If I work up the energy to pull the old one before Spring, I may be able to find that info. Maybe next weekend.. If you find out from someone else, please let me know. Thanks

Chris,

We just bought ours and I went through the previous owner's literature. I can't confirm if this is original since the PO insulated it and I haven't had a close look at it yet. He had a manual from Atwood Water Heaters (4750 Hiawatha Drive Rockford, IL 61103 815-877-7461). Inside it lists Heat Exchange Models (GH-3 and GH6-4E) and Electric Water Heaters (models EHM6-SM and EHM11-SM). It also lists gas water heaters, but I don't think that applies here. I can scan the manual in and send it to you if you'd like. It may be too big as an attachment for Sailnet, so if there's another address you use, let me know.

Hi Guys,

I bought one of these boats mid season (here in Maryland) and am pretty sure that my H2O heater is original (at least it looks so.) I don't know what the brand is at the moment but have plans to go to the boat this weekend and would be more than happy to snap a picture of the installation and info plate for you.

Hi Chris,

If you are still looking, it appears that the heater in my 1988 is a Atwood EHM6-SM. I snapped a few pictures, but most were either over or underexposed (due to the flash at close range). Hope this helps.
