About $7-8K for the Beta 16 engine. But there's more when you're in there, I replaced the black iron fuel tank, put in a RACOR 500 filter and a replacement waterlift muffler. You need a different prop. I got a campbell. You'll need to modify or replace the shifter as well. Then the mounting wasn't a drop in, having to do a bit of work to get it to fit into the A-4's stringers. Will need a mechanic to help with the alignment. Had I known all that up front I'd likely have gone for a Moyer rebuild. In the long run the diesel's probably a good idea but not the most cost effective.

Can't seem to upload file. Not much to see. The lavatory faucet has a flexible hose with head, and there is an overhead rail for curtain. Drain on sole at main bulkhead into bilge.

Re: Looking for other Cal 29 owners..

I have a '74 Cal 29 (not 2-29) that will be in the Tampa Bay area of FL in a week or so. No shower, and an inoperable A4 that will be getting replaced with an outboard for now. Eventually a diesel will go in- most likely Yanmar 2GM20, as I have found a few of these, with transmissions, for $2-3k semi-locally.
