Any CAL 46 owners out there? I'm on board 1977 3-46 Whirling Dervish along with my wife, 4 kids and a dog. We cut the docklines October 19, 2009 near Baltimore. Currently in Stuart, FL

We bought our Cal 2-46 Fall of 08, our first boat. Brought it to Canada last Spring from N. Palm Beach. Stopped in Stuart for a few days to repair raw water pump. It's an awesome boat, best balance of sailing ability, motoring ability and liveaboard-ability I've found.

So where do the Cal 46 owners hang out online? There was an owners group but it seems inactive. I think there is a Cal 2-46 forum on sailnet, still looking. I'm hoping someone can tell me where to get new porthole seals.

We live aboard in Stuart, FL on our Cal 3-46? I wonder if you guys are still here? We'll also be in the bahamas for june!

Anyhow, I just bought Welcome to the Cal 46 Owners Site because the cal 46 owners group disappeared. I don't have much on the site yet as I haven't had time to get it up 100%, but I will start working on it if I get some interest.

Anyhow, not sure on the porthole seals. My portholes are gray industries, which is now pompanette (bowmar). They are plastic and being replaced... well actually it's the project i took a little break from to write this, with the stainless portlights from Newfound metals!
