New "used" Cal 21 owner

Just got this boat handed to me, needs lots of tlc and cleaning up. Have removed the wood and now have 3 coats of varnish on them, "they are lookin good".

Have ordered a new carbon fiber rudder from Ida sailor, the old one had a crack from top to bottom, and local sailboat store said to repair would be around $350-$400 and mb not last long. So I took the plunge, waiting on the delivery this week.

Still in the 40's in IN so I have time to work and putter on this project. Going to take my time and do it right, not rushing to put in the water by April 1.

Will have to learn how to post pics, looking forward to comments on this specific boat. Have noticed most are happy and in love with the Cal 21.

I did have a Victoria 18 for about 3 yrs, so not a total newbie

Welcome, I got my Cal 21 not even a year ago and I love that little sucker!
