anything under 24 ft is a daysailor
over 24 is great for 2 people
over 28 sail around the world.
the boat is too big when you have less than 50% of youur time to sail it

By the numbers

Falconxp

Going by your numbers I'm just where I need to be. My main sailboat will be the 1980 26' Chrysler I'm overhauling. The Cal 21'... if one ever comes my way would be something to play around in.

21 is great 26 is very comfortable
remember if you cannot afford to sail 50% of the time your boat is too big
