Seafever has running water :)

Its amazing how much a faucet can cost and not even be all that good

So after a relentless search i found these ECO PURE units as Lowes which are perfect in that there really well made and have a nice low flow and are setup with a 3/8 tube push lock fitting

To keep the women happy we went with the Traveler Self-Contained Toilet / Holding Tank as the 9 gallons fits are use of the boat without all the complexity of cramping in a holding tank in a boat that was built without one

Of course no good dead go without problems and ones under a heavy load the pump started leaking BUT it was on sale at defenders warehouse sale and i would have most likely regretted fixing a 30 year old pump as some bolts were breaking when i took it apart

TomMays,
That Eco Pure thing looks quite good. I am constantly amazed at just how crappy boat plumbing fittings are. Yes there are some very good but hellishly expensive European fittings but the average chandlers product is appalling.

I can't quite see but I'm presuming cold water only ? Not that this is an issue as I have long since given up trying to find an exceptable hot water solution for a small boat other than solar bag or kettle.

Are you still using the Traveler toilet, and how is it working for you? How do you empty the thing?

The Traveler toilet worked perfect in season one and you just pump it from the deck fitting as my area is 100% NDZ and the pump outs are free

You could also tee in a maceration unit and Y valve and discharge if you were out at sea

Here type 1 MSDs are legal so a Raritan Lectra San unit works. I also have a Cal 29 with little/no room for a holding tank. I rebuilt Wilcox Crittenden Skipper model for the toilet... bullet-proof but repair parts are expensive. This also is a high toilet so I had to put in a drop down foot platform is installed to facilitate use.
