Cal 25 - Autotiller Fathers Day Present

Hi Cal 25 Owners!

My parents own a Cal 25, and I am buying them a Raymarine ST1000+ autotiller for fathers day.
They are getting a little older, and I know an extra "electronic" hand on board would be a game changer for them.

My question is in regards to it's installation. Has anyone used this unit on a Cal before?
I have a similiar unit on my Cat27, but I needed the extension arm to avoid mounting the mount hole in the cockpit seat. (This means you couldnt use the cushions)

Can anyone tell me the distance between center tiller and the side bulkhead? Any drawings, etc?

I'd like to surprise him by installing next week; but its difficult to sneak onto their boat (They are always on it!!!)

Any help is much obliged!

Happy Fathers Day

Might try the line drawing at CAL 25 sailboat on sailboatdata.com.. More than 6000 sailboats, sailing yachts, dinghies and sailing craft listed.

Using the LOA of 25' - it appears that the distance from side bulkhead to side bulkhead (at mid-locker) is just shy of 6' so depending on how accurate a number you need ...
