Cal 2-29 for sale in VT

I could'nt find a board to post boats for sale, so I thought I'd post in the specific cal board as this is a nice boat at a nice price. Really enjoyed her but need to downsize.

$9000 - 1974 Cal 29 classic sail boat, comfortable cruiser with good lines for club racing. Can hit 8.5 knots in good winds. Points well, can easily handle 20 knot winds in Champlain. Sleeps 6 adults very comfortably. Two full size doubles and two roomy single berths. 6'2" cabin standing headroom. Teak interior. Separate enclosed head and vanity sink with privacy door. Large U-shaped seating area for 6 w/dinette.

Two sinks, 20galfresh water tank, ice box and head. Pressure water system. Washdown hose with pump takes lake water. Big cockpit with pedestal wheel steering. Sails include Furlex rolling/furling new in 2006, and spinnaker and mainsail cover Faryman 14HP diesel inboard always starts and runs smooth. New alternator service, charges batteries. Batteries new in 2011 All electrics work and new 2011 GPS/fishfinder Edson pedestal wheel steering with emergency tiller. Two #18 barlow sheet winches, one #16 Barlow, two #16 Barlow halyard winches, two enkes winches Two new self-tailing #16 Lewmar in 2011 (worth $1000 alone!) Dansforth anchor and line Wisker pole Numerous fenders and mooring ropes

9' tender and 3HP outboard also available for $500

Would also seek trade for trailer-able boat.

Cal 29

Hi,
I am unable to send pm, so here goes. I would be interested in a trade, if boat is not sold by may 2012 and you are interested in my boat. I have a 2009 west wight potter 19 and will be moving aboard and cruising beginning in jun 2012. I am currently teaching in Colorado and will be retiring this year. If interested let me know. My boat is blue water with performance sails...excellent condition.
Thanks,
Mike Adams
