Cal 20: Need to Replace mast in NJ

I am looking for a Cal 20 replacement mast for my Cal 20, #1401, that is moored in Red Bank, NJ (East Coast).

I lost my former main mast on Sunday, August 5th, 2012 while racing in NJ. The port aft lower mast stay pulled through the deck in 20-knot wind gusts. The main mast buckled at the spreader and broke into two pieces. It can not be repaired. Therefore I need to replace it with a used mast that is in good condition.

If no one has a used mast that I can afford, then I will have to order a new one from the West Coast, but it will have to wait a while since it probably will be more costly.

Please feel free to contact me by e-mail address at "chuck.hunnewell@siemens.com".

Thank you,

Chuck Hunnewell.

Have you tried calling lockwoods? It's possible that they might have a rig on their rack?

Tempest:

I already have spoken to Lockwoods. They are checking, but they doubt that they will have one. I also have spoken to Seals Spars & Rigging on the West Coast, but a new mast isn't inexpensive. Hence, first I am looking for a replacement mast before I order a new one.

Thank you,

Chuck.
