Maritime charts

Hi all,

Is there any sort of chart book for the maritimes? I've been trying to find charts for a trip from Boston to Labrador (maybe that far) next year. I'm not finding much except ordering individual charts from the government. Electronic charts are very expensive.

I'm confused. What do Canadians up there use for navigation?

Thanks!
Paul

Re: Maritime charts

Paul,

I'm sure our Canadian friends will jump in sooner or later, but, in the meantime, it's my understanding that your only option is to purchase the paper and electronic charts. Unlike our NOAA, Canada does not provide free chart booklets that you can print at home or electronic charts for download.
