Bringing dogs onboard to the windwards/leeward islands

We are headed south to the BVIS then we want to go to the windwards and leewards twards SA. Anyone that has traveled with dogs aboard a sailing vessel please post your experiences in those places while traveling with dogs. We have the basic paperwork done on our dogs but wonder if they check on vessels, board for inspection and other requirements regarding the dogs..
Most of the information we have found on the internet regarding these places and dogs is very outdated, officals in those places dont have viable email addresses and we cant get forms for entry with dogs to bvi's as the links on that site do not work..

Didn't go down island with a dog but we had friends that had one and it turned into a major, major hassle. Great cost and some islands they could not visit. Good luck.
