Catalina 30 Trailer for Rental?

Looking to rent a tailer to take a Catalina 30 from St. Petersburg FL to Norfolk VA. Ball hitch. Anything close to either city or along the route would be fine. Need it for this coming weekend April 1-4, 2006.

Catalina 30 Trailoring.

What are you going to drag this with?

I think because of beam and weight you will need a commercial tractor/trailor with permits? With trailor this will approach 7 tons?

Just a suggestion but I would call a boat hauler and it will likely be very close to the same cost when you really add it all up?

not realy, seen a lot of people moving boats with pickups. do need a heavy duty truck and brakes on the trailer. Some states do require permits and escorts for anything over 9ft wide, others 12ft is good without even an oversize load sign, some escorts have to be police.
If you have a cradle, some rental places will rent a good lowboy trailer and heavyduty truck very reasonably.
Also, federal law allows transport of personal belongings in an 18 wheeler without a CDL, but you can not carry anything for hire

Ken.
