Repair of galley counter

The galley counter in my Catalina 30 MkIII got a chip in the edge about 1" by 1/2". Can anyone recommend a method for do-it-myself repair including color matching?

epoxi repair ???

i am a tile setter and sometimes work with granite and such... i know there are many different types of epoxi mixs you can buy in small amounts for not much money... the thing is that you can also get pigments to mix a color to blend to the stone color... if you want to give it a try i would call a place that sells stone slabs and tell them what it is your trying to do and they can set you up for less than 40 $$$... it wont give you a perfect PATCH but it will give you a fair shake at matching the color... work with small batchs... very small batches ... and when you get close the the shade you want... well then the fun begins.... good luck..... j
