C27 Boom

There is a Catalina 27 for sale near me at a great price, even for the fact that it has no boom. However, if I can't get a boom at any price, then I just bought a mostly useless lump of fiberglass. I've been scouring the internet for a spar maker, and for parts driect from catalina, but cannot find anything specific, and without measurements I can't get one made. Can anyone ether provide the manufacturer of one, measurements for one, or at the very least an approximate cost of one? Thanks a lot.

There is a company in Sacramento, California called Catalina Direct. They have parts for Catalina 22s and 25s, I know, but may also have something for the 27, or can perhaps help you locate what you need. Number is 1-800-959-7245.

Boom measurements

If yu can let me know what measuresments you are looking for specifically I can get them off my 1986 Catalina 27 Tall Rig, or from the manuals.

Dwyer will probably be your best bet. I just bought a 25' mast from them last summer for a 20 foot sailboat. Cost was about 750 including shipping.
