Your Morgan 44

Saw your post that you have had your M44 cc for years and have done a lot with it. We like a 1988 and a 1990 M 44 cc that we have found and are ready to buy. We sailed the Bahamas all last winter in our little 34 and realized we needed a bigger boat for a 2 year Caribbean cruise. Love the engine room layout and the aft cabin, plus the lazarette can hold our scuba tanks, gear and air compressor. One has the upgraded 66 hp Yanmar and 100 gals fuel (which we think would be better), the other the standard 50 gals and 44 hp Y. Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sell me on a Morgan

Please talk to me if you are a Morgan owner. I hear the negative aspects but I really want one that is up for sale and am curious about how owners like them.

S/V Magnolia #35

My wife and I purchased Captain Ron's Wind Fetish in March 2010 and have been sailing and updating her near Annapolis since. If there are any specific questions I will try and help. I do have one specific question, is there any KNOWN water intrusion point aft starboard. We have "black" water damage wood next to berth. I have not spent time going after it yet. Thought there might be a known issue.
