Numbered Plaque mystery

My 1981 C 30 has a wood plaque engraved with # 653667 attached just under the companionway step by a prior owner. At first I thought it might be the hull number but there are to many digits. Possibly a CG documentation # but I have not been able to confirm this.

Any Ideas as to what the # represents?

SailorMitch will become famous soon enough
Does any of this sound familiar? Note the documentation is no longer current. Not hard to correct that if you want to.

Charlie, Mitch thanks for the answer. How would I go about getting that updated and are there any pros or cons?
