Optional source for Universal Diesel parts?

Is there an optional manufacturer of Universal Diesel parts? I thought I had heard that Universals were actually marinized Kubotas. If there is another manufacturer, does anyone know what their model number may be for the M30/5424? Thanks.

The information you seek is on the IC30A website at International Catalina 30 Association. look under vendors and engines.
Come on over and join up!

Some of the guys at Torresen Marine Diesel Engines and Engine Parts from Torresen Marine's Marine Diesel Direct - Universal - Volvo - Westerbeke - Yanmar - MASE, which picked up the Universal line, might know.

They're pretty helpful and knowledgeable.
