For what it's worth, a friend used UShip.com a while back to move a 32' boat from texas to california (shortest route that doesn't leave the USA). Cost about $3700, which included yard fees to step/unstep the mast. The shipper did a great job. There was another bid that was less expensive, but that shipper had never moved a boat before.
