I am interested to know if it is possible to get a boat with a 7' draft into the Blue Hole in Belize? I sailed by it last year but was in a hurry to get home so did not even look into the possibility.
If it is not possible to get the boat in, is there a place to anchor nearby and take a dingy in?
I also would like to know if I would have to go to Ambrigis to check in since I only want to go to the Blue Hole and then proceed on to Honduras?

I was in there once diving. I think the Government of Belize prevents large boats from entering the Blue Hole. However, there are anchorages and moorings nearby that dive boats use. All traffic from the boats to the hole are by dinghy. Hope this helps.
