Panama City-Local knowledge and Place to crush

I am helping an Aussie to take his new to him boat from BVI to Australia, but I will be jumping off in Panama City. I am thinking to stay a few days in PC. Am looking for some local knowledge to see the City and its people, if possible a safe place to crush at night.

I am clean, DD free, non smoker and very light drinker and not a yacht bum.
