The real problem is that Cruz bay is dirty and crowded and you often cannot get a mooring or have space to drop the hook SO....you end up going to the next bay over...Caneel Bay...anchoring and making sure it is holding...loading everything and everyone into the
dinghy and heading back around the point and down into CruzBay Harbor....do the customes thing...and then head back. On a typical tradewinds day, the trip can be quite wet in the dink and take several hours to complete the entire transaction before moving on.
