Smile Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum Auction

The Maritime Museum Auction is scheduled for August 31st and has an interesting group of vessels. You can find a nice choice if you are looking for a cruising boat to take you around the world (Corbin 39) or a boat that will travel into the most shallow Bay gunkhole (couple of sharpies). The Museum is such a treasure for us Bay sailors providing knowledge and entertainment for all things relating to the water, boats and our nautical history.

Go to their web site and look at this years donations. I have contributed my little 11 foot Whitholtz catboat (sadly no time to use her) that is very sweet and I know many are worthy of your review and the sale of these boats will help support the Museum's activities for the community. The day of the auction is just fun to watch, so if you are just interested in a fun activity, plan to visit on that day.
