Boatyard - room for 35 - will cost 250 to reserve, last time I asked.

Xort - does the marina you are at have a facility?

Nothing here, just a boat yard. One gas station grade bathroom. Sorry.

Re: Meet Up at Annapolis Boat Show

You'll have trouble finding free, especially on the boat show side of Spa Creek. The bars and restaurants that are nearby will be packed during boat show.

Port Annapolis Marina has a nice community room. BYOB/food and need a slipholder to use. $5 to use the dinghy dock.

Annapolis Landing Marina has a pavilion. Again you'll need a slipholder.

Annapolis Harbor Boatyard has a quonset hut. You'd have to convince John Norton that there is something in it for him. No parking during Boat Show.

J/Port Annapolis has a classroom that might serve but someone (preferably an alum) would have to call. Parking in Eastport will be a nightmare. Water taxi or a walk would work.

Ebb Tide Bar and Grill on Bay Ridge is close enough to drive but far enough not to be too crowded.

If you're already at the Boat Show the Fleet Reserve Club has an inside room that SailNet has used before. You'll need a member. Access from inside and outside the Boat Show.

Eastport Yacht Club has their Boat Show Bash on Saturday night and it is easy to pick a place on the grounds for people to meet up and just expand to the space you need. Tickets are required but anyone can go. See above for parking in Eastport.

Proud Mary's at Chesapeake Harbour Marina is not usually too busy during Boat Show. Lots of parking. The restaurant is pricy but the Tiki bar is fine. Fair weather only.

That's all I can think of.

Just look for the guy in the "traffic cone orange" shirt - party is where he is.

Re: Meet Up at Annapolis Boat Show

OK, I see the "where" is an issue. I can go wherever those who know the show and the area think is best, including Jeff's back yard. Bars/restaurants that aren't insanely crowded always good too.

Re: Meet Up at Annapolis Boat Show

I tried to secure a private room for us at Carroll's Creek Cafe (GM is on our Advisory Board) but they are booked.

Where is still the major issue it seems, any restaurant downtown is going to be insanely crowed and not very conducive to talking IMO. JeffH has graciously offered his place.

Re: Meet Up at Annapolis Boat Show

Jeff's place sounds good to me...even if there's no shuttle.

Meet Up at Annapolis Boat Show

Let's just make the best of it and go to Pussers. It's not ideal but it's simple it's easy and it's right there.
