Lightbulb Annapolis Boat Show / Sailnet party?

Hey all, they're beginning to assemble the floating docks for this year's show! We talked about trying to meet last year but couldn't pull it off ... any interest in meeting IRL somewhere, say the Friday night of boat show, sharing a few brews and coming out from behind our screen names? When/if we have an idea of how many people are interested we could seek a (free) venue.

I was just thinking about something like this.

Ditto on the camera ban.

Pusser's, 2PM Saturday? They closed Riordan's a few weeks ago, so I need a new watering hole downtown.

Maybe we should post this in General Discussion to get a wider audience.

saltypat is an unknown quantity at this point
Nice idea

I like the idea of a Sailnet gathering. Let me know if there is a consensus on place and time, etc.

Maybe we need the Sailnet Ches. Bay cruising club to form........

saltypat - more details, and directions, (if you want to wade thru the chatter) in the 'general discussion' forum under 'Annapolis Boat Show Meetup' thread. Hope you can make it.

The hotel is dropping me off at the show this morning. Is Salty Dog within walking distance of the show? If not, is anybody going over that can give me a ride?
All the best,

If you don't catch a ride, I can dinghy you over. And it's the WET Dog, not Salty (just in case you try to get directions )

Wet Dog, I knew that. I must have salty things on the brain this morning. Thanks for the offer John and if I need to catch up to you what’s the best way to find you? I have a cell phone with me if that helps. The number is 845 323 9138.
All the best,
