Ken,
If you mean at a raft up I really wouldn't know by can not see any reason why not. As yacht clubs go we are tiny - only 60 or so member families. So you know it's us our burgee is a blue triangle with a yellow chevon seen at Welcome To The Yacht Club of Cape St. Claire. We don't own any slips but I do have a mooring ball available that will hold a Hunter 41 like yours with no difficulty.
I normally fly it, my Gemini Gems burgee and maybe the SailNet burgee this year.

Over 100 miles by sail, so I'd have to make a week out of it. Or I'm debating weather or not to bum a ride.
I've still got an open cabin unless Saildog calls dibs.

Shakedown day 2008

First time out this season today. Great winds 15- 18 knots. Got the chance to sail up to Inner Harbor and the aquarium, and back in 4 hours with all systems functioning normally, as the wife didnt want our firts cruise out o the bay with the 4-5 ft swells... Funny how much you miss being out on the water and appreciate it when you get out again after 4 months of winter.

Looking forward to our Sailnet Mini-Rondevous at the MYC on June 14.

All those comming please PM me so I cabn place you on a distribution spreadsheet to all those who do attend. Sailnet name...Name..mates name,,,boats name...Hailing port...Boat type and footage...any other info you dont mind sharing on the spreadsheet.

To all those needing slips please let me know now so I can arrange that for you as well.

Dave

We decided it was scrub down day on saturday because the weather guesses were guessing afternoon thunderstorms. It was so clear and sunny I got my first sun burn of the year.
Boats clean(er), all systems checked and good.
Sailing time next week.

Wasn't the head that got burned.
On a more serious note Mary (MMR here on sailnet) and I have been offered an opportunity to crew for Alex (Giulietta) during conflicting dates. As it turns out we'd be out of country from June 5th - 13th. We hope to make both but we would be constrained to a 'land based' appearance at this raft up.

I'm sure ya'll will understand if this is the case, in either case keep us on the mail list.

Guys and Gals,
Changes of plans force me to cancel out. Giuletta (alex) has offed the Admiral and I an opportunity to sail with him down the coast of Portugal; unfortunately the schedule conflicts.
While I would truly love to meet you all an put faces and names to online handles I have to trade a once in a lifetime opportunity for a local event.

We'll see you on the bay, I do fly the sailnet pennant.

Chuckles and MMR
