Just found out about this. I'd really like to put faces to the posts, but unfortunately, it's too far up the Bay for me to make it and conflicts with the first Yeocomico River Cruising Boat regatta. Have a beer for me.

Hi all,
How far is MYC from the Bohemia? I'd like to come if I have the weekend open.

Easily makable for you. I take my friends boat to Havre de Grace every year to winter at Tidewater, a similar distance. It takes about 6 houtrs to there from MYC

We are just inside the Patapsco River (to Baltimore) on the south side. First creek is Bodkin, second is Rock CreeK (MYC), third is Stony Creek then the Key Bridge.

If you strictly motored it would take maybe 6-8 hours. We sail up to Worton Creek which is on the other side of Pooles Ilsland in about 4-5 hours tops with a 15 knot breeze.

We would love to have you come.

Dave

If I have this straight the plan is for a Sailnet Raft up near Maryland Yacht Club in Rock Creek off of the Patapsco River on June 14th. Looking at the chart it looks like I should be able to get in there with 6'-4" draft.

I notice that this is one of the weekends when the Liberty ship will be under way with its acompanying air show. Way Cool.

Count me in....

Jeff

6'4 draft will leave you plenty of water in Rock Creek. Either anchor with others or we have trans slips available. We plan to have a cocktail hour at the paviollion at the club and there are plenty of abab a q grills and picnic tables for all who want to avail themself of them. For those who take a slip we have a pool and bathroom facilities. Looking forward to meeting you Jeff.

I am definitely a newbee to the forum but this sounds like a nice trip from Middle River. I have no idea what my wife has planned for that weekend but, we shall see.

Man I am so bummed that I can't make this party as my daughter has a performance that Saturday.

Any thought's about a raft-up later in the season, around St Michaels or the Wye?
