This Weekend

Where is everyone headed this weekend. We are looking for a new place to cruise to a maybe meet some we didnt meet at the Sauilnet Rondevous at our club back in June.

We sail out of Rock Creek. I saw the pirates festival at Rock hall. It looks interesting, but we do Rock Hall frequently altrhough we migh look for the two Cabos there if there is no other spot.

Why does this always seem to happen. No one is doing anything and when I plan something in advance everyone wants to do Kewl things. Our sailing association had a pig roast and I had friends in from out of state. This weekend is the festival and the sailing association is going on a weatherman cruise and you want to hookup somewhere. My luck or planning has got to change!

I might be out and about, not sure where we will head except certainly north of the Magothy. Probably Swan, maybe Bodkin on Friday, Still Pond Creek Saturday. I'll be flying my sailnet burgee. Feel free to hail or drop in.

We may head up to Still Pond/ Worton as the winds appear WNW..still up in the air and the Admiral hasnt spoken yet.

Hal, not ruling out Swan yet, just that we head there a lot. Love the conch ceremony at sunset.

A birthday tradition for me - taking a mooring in Annapolis Harbor, beginning tonight.

BTW, Dave - Earl G. from the next dock over at MYC works just down the hall from me - small world - he says he knows you...

I'm heading to Herring Bay Friday night, then to Cambridge on Saturday, and Annapolis on Sunday.

VHF will be on 13 and 16 while underway, so if anyone is around and wants to swap photos under sail give a shout.

A belated thanx for the wishes, Dave & Cam. The weather was awesome, the grilled salmon in citrus butter glaze that was my b-day dinner was perfect, and the meteor shower was magical! Playing tourist in my hometown was a hoot!
